FESPB CONGRESS 2010
Travel Grants for Students from Central
and Eastern Europe
The Federation of European Societies of Plant Biology (FESPB) offers Travel Grants for post-graduate students from member Countries in Central and Eastern Europe to attend the 2010 FESPB Congress in Valencia, Spain. Thirty grants will be available on a competitive basis. Reimbursement of travel expenses and accommodation costs will be provided up to a maximum of 600 Euros immediately after the conference. For this purpose the Grantees should send to the Treasurer of FESPB by registered mail the original documents (ticket receipt, boarding cards, hotel receipt) together with a Reimbursement Form provided at the Congress duly filled. Registration fees will be paid by FESPB directly to the Organizing Committee. Please keep a copy of all documents send for your own records.
Applicants should be registered at a European University as graduate students (masters or doctorate) in Plant Biology. They should also be residents in one of the following countries: Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Moldavia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Serbia/Montenegro. The country should be FESPB member and should have paid the respective fees.
Successful applicants will be expected to arrange their own travel. They will also be responsible for booking their own accommodation either through their local travel agent or preferably through the Accommodation Booking Form to be found on the website of the Congress (organizers will reserve low cost rooms for the Grantees). Successful applicants will also be expected to present poster papers.
